JAL or Java Application Loader will enable you to transfer MIDlets from your PC to your Motorola phone. By default JAL is NOT activated in your phone when you purchase it. So you have to activate it your self. Well! I really don’t know Motorola’s reason behind this but anyway you can find out if JAL is activated on your phone by going to Menu -> Settings -> Java Settings. If you CAN NOT see the “Java App Loader”, follow the instructions on the link below on how to enable JAL using PST software but if you can see it, most probably JAL is already activated so you don’t need to activate it (again).
